Join us for an “in the board room” with Larry Weber, founder of Racepoint Global, Inc.. Mr. Weber serves as Chief Executive Officer of W2 Group, Inc. and has been its Chairman since 2004. He is the Co-Founder at the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX). He served as Strategic Partner of A2aMedia, Inc. He served as an Advisor of Digibug Express, Inc. In 2001, he founded Weber Shandwick, one of the largest public relations agencies in the world. Mr. Weber served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Advanced Marketing Services, Inc. He was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Allied Communications Group. He served as Advisor of A2aMedia, Inc. He founded W2 Group, Inc., and Thunderhouse. He has worked with world-class clients including Coca-Cola, Pfizer, General Motors, IBM, General Mills, Siemens and many more. Mr. Weber was the Founder of Digital Influence Group, Inc and served as Chairman. He serves on a number of Boards of corporations, non-profit organizations and academic institutions. He co-founded the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council and serves as its Chairman. He serves as Non Executive Chairman of PARTNERS+simons, Inc. He serves as Chairman of Racepoint Global, Inc. (formerly Racepoint Group, Inc.) and Racepoint Group, UK. He served as Chairman at the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX). He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Vertro, Inc. from April 4, 2006 to March 2012. He served as Chairman of One to One Interactive, Inc. He serves as Vice Chairman of CMGRP, Inc. He serves as Director for Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange, Inc. He has been External Director of Macromill, Inc. since November 29, 2016. Mr. Weber has been a Director of Pegasystems Inc. since August 27, 2012. He has been a Director at Modem Media Inc. since October 2001. He was employed at Critical Path, Inc. He serves as a Director of MITX. He served as Director of Vertro, Inc., from June 22, 2005 to March 2012 and The Taiwan Fund, Inc. from 1995 to January 2006. He also serves on the Board of several technology related and nonprofit organizations, including Technology Review, MIT’s magazine of innovation, EchoMail Inc, The Museum of Science, The Boston Symphony Orchestra and The Council on Competitiveness. Mr. Weber serves as a Director at Communispace Corporation. He served as a Director at RealityWave Inc. He serves as Trustee of Babson College. He serves as a Director of Entrepreneur foundation of England and Crowd Factory, Inc. He serves on the Advisory Board at Linkable Networks, Inc., Echelon Ventures and Stage 1 Ventures, LLC. From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Weber served on the board of Avectra, a provider of web-based association management software (AMS) and social CRM software. Mr. Weber holds a BA in English from Denison University, Ohio and an MFA in Writing and Literature from Antioch College, Oxford.
