SAP Spotlight: Dr. Nick Sarantopoulos - Renowned EOS Implementer

Dr. Nick Sarantopoulos

Dr. Nick Sarantopoulos is a distinguished business leader, business consultant, and certified team performance coach with over 30 years of professional experience. He also helps organizations implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to clarify, simplify, and achieve their visions while optimizing their processes and increasing productivity.

Dr. Sarantopoulos shares his journey as an industry-leading coach and his relationship with EO Boston in this interview. Read on!

Tell Us About Yourself and Your Business

I am a certified leadership and team performance coach with a background in energy, banking, investment banking, and business coaching/consulting in Europe and the U.S. As an EOS implementer, I help business owners and their leadership teams reach their full potential.

My goal is to take something good and make it great. I can work closely with each leadership team to guide them as they clarify their visions, execute the vision with discipline and accountability, and build a positive, fun, and high-energy culture.

The EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a great operating framework for every type of business. EOS is a proven system that has been successfully implemented in over 25,000 businesses in the US and overseas.

How Long Have You Been an SAP With EO Boston?

I have been an EO Boston SAP for four months [as of September 2024].

What Have Been Your Greatest Challenges and Successes in Business?

My greatest challenge in business over the years has been time management. I overcame that challenge by becoming better at delegating and elevating my unique abilities. As such, learning to maintain focus has been the most important key to my personal and business growth.

My successes are my clients. Every time a client breaks through a ceiling, reaches a new milestone, or grows to a new level, I celebrate with them.

How Do You Network With Other Businesses?

I enjoy meeting genuine and authentic people in my personal and business life. When people are open and honest, they build strong relationships based on mutual respect and trust.

Who Have Been Your Strongest Mentors?

I have had three great mentors in my professional life: one at Mobil Europe in London, one in Chicago, and one in New York City. I owe them a ton of gratitude for what I have accomplished over the years. I can write a book about all the lessons they taught me, the fun times we shared, and how they challenged me to grow.

Why Partner With EO Boston? What Have You Learned Since Becoming an SAP With EO Boston?

I partner with EO Boston because it’s an amazing community of entrepreneurs. It’s so awesome that I look forward to as many one-on-one meetings with members as possible.

What’s on the Horizon for You?

What’s next is to get to enjoy more of what we call “The EOS Life”:

  • Doing what I love

  • With people I love

  • Being appropriately compensated

  • Making a huge impact

  • With time for other passions and to enjoy my family

I also want to help my clients get to the point where they can experience The EOS Life themselves.

What’s the Best Piece of Advice You Can Give to Up-And-Coming Businesses?

The best advice, and that comes from experience, is to hire a great coach. We all have blind spots and are not perfect. A coach can help us grow in ways we cannot always see.

Anything Else You Want to Cover?

If we haven’t met, I look forward to meeting you and hearing your story. I enjoy making new friends and new connections.
